Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has an overall score of 88.9, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5's score of 79.3. Even though the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is notably newer than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, it is notably thicker and way heavier. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has newer 10 version while Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1 version.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a quite superior performance than Galaxy Note 5, because it has more CPU cores and more RAM. Galaxy Note 5 counts with a brighter screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a much smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per display inch.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a superior storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 448 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 4050mAh battery size. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a larger aperture, a lot larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.
