Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has an overall score of 88.9, which is much better than the Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 general score. Although Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is much newer than the Galaxy S5 Plus, it's much heavier and noticeably thicker. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has the older 10 version and Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a way smaller display and a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a little greater screen density.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha captures clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a lot larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a back-facing camera with much more megapixels and a way larger camera aperture to take better low light images.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a really longer battery performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 4050mAh battery capacity against 2800mAh.
