Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is just a bit better than the Galaxy S8 Active, getting an 88.9 score against 81.9. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha's construction is newer, but just a little thicker and somewhat heavier than Galaxy S8 Active. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a much smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2960px, it also counts with a better pixels density.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same (4K) video definition and the same aperture, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a lot higher 108 mega-pixels resolution back camera and a lot larger back camera sensor which offers a way higher photo and video quality.
