Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, having a global score of 90.1 against 88.9. Even when Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro and Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha were released only 8 months apart, Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro is a little thinner and just a little bit lighter. These devices work with the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding that.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of display. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro, because it has 512 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro has superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4050mAh.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro shoots much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for shooting photos and/or video in poorly lited situations, a much less mega-pixels resolution back camera, a worse video quality and a lot smaller sensor taking much lower quality videos and photographs.
