Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is much better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, having a general score of 88.9 against 76.2. Even though the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is newer than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, it is somewhat heavier and much thicker. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has 10 version and Xiaomi Mi MIX has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX has a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, although it has a little smaller screen, a way worse 1080 x 2040 resolution and a quite worse number of pixels per display inch. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has more internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. The Xiaomi Mi MIX features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity instead of 4050mAh.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better photos in low-light environments, a much better resolution back-facing camera and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot better quality videos and pictures.
