Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi MIX, with a 78.7 score against 76.2. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a just a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter phone than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, although they were released only 2 months apart. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Mi MIX has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, giving a couple additional features.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features just a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a greater pixels amount per inch in the display. Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has a greater number of cores and more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX takes slightly better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and images, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Mi MIX also counts with a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution and a larger aperture for better low light photos and videos.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with as much storage for applications and games as the Xiaomi Mi MIX one, they have equal internal storage. Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 10 percent more battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs more than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi MIX. If you want to save some money, you can buy Xiaomi Mi MIX, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
