Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX has a global score of 76.2, which is a little bit better than the LG G5's 76.1 general score. Both of these devices use Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi MIX has older 6.0 Marshmallow version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is better than the LG G5, it must be told that it is also a much heavier and a little thicker device.
The LG G5 has a processing unit that's very similar to Xiaomi Mi MIX's processing unit, both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM. The LG G5 features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a lot greater pixel density.
LG G5 features a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG G5 features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a camera with a 16 megapixels resolution and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the LG G5 also has a larger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality pictures and videos and a larger diafragm aperture.
Xiaomi Mi MIX has a much better battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has a 57% larger battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is a better device, it is more expensive than the LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G5. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX, else you can save some money and buy the LG G5, letting go some features and specifications.
