Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi MIX's general score of 76.2. Galaxy Note8's construction is newer and a little bit lighter than Xiaomi Mi MIX's, although it's just a little thicker. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS, but Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Mi MIX has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, giving you a couple nice extra features and optimized performance.
Galaxy Note8 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has 2 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores. Galaxy Note8 counts with a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a greater number of pixels per inch in the display.
Galaxy Note8 has a bit more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a camera that's just as good as the Xiaomi Mi MIX one, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a lower 3840x2160 video definition and a back facing camera with a lot worse 12 mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger sensor capturing better quality photographs and a bigger aperture to take better low light images and videos.
