Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than Xiaomi Mi MIX, with a overall score of 85.7 against 76.2. The Galaxy S6 Edge body is much lighter and just a little thinner than Xiaomi Mi MIX, despite of the fact that it was released about 19 months before. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S6 Edge has an older 5.0 version and Xiaomi Mi MIX has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Galaxy S6 Edge features a superior hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores (although slower), a 64 bits CPU and an additional graphics processing unit. The Galaxy S6 Edge features a more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a lot higher pixels density.
The Galaxy S6 Edge and Xiaomi Mi MIX both feature quite similar memory capacity for games and applications, both have exactly the same internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi MIX has a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh. The Xiaomi Mi MIX takes better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography and videos and a smaller camera sensor, they both have the same video quality, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rate.
The Galaxy S6 Edge is way more expensive than Xiaomi Mi MIX, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
