Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX has a global score of 76.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S7 Active's 75.8 general score. Although Xiaomi Mi MIX and the Galaxy S7 Active were released only a couple of months apart, the Xiaomi Mi MIX construction is a lot thinner but somewhat heavier. The Galaxy S7 Active counts with a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have the same brightness, the Galaxy S7 Active also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a lot higher screen density.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with a bit superior processor than Galaxy S7 Active. Both of them have 4 processing cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with a quite bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX features a little bit better camera than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light photography and video, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi MIX also counts with a camera in the back with a much higher 16 megapixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a 10% more battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
