Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, with a general score of 82.2 against 76.2. Even though Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is newer than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, it is heavier and much thicker. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a way better looking display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with way more pixels per inch of display, a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and way more brightness.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a quite bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has more CPU cores and 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a lot bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light images and videos and a back camera with a better 19 megapixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX has longer battery life than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4400mAh battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi MIX. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Mi MIX, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
