Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX has a score of 76.2, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2's 76 general score. Xiaomi Mi MIX is an a little bit thicker and incredibly heavier cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Both of these phones come with the same Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, so both should provide you all the same OS features.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have 4 cores, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi MIX features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a little bit lower display density, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2040px and a little bigger screen.
Xiaomi Mi MIX and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 count with quite similar memory to install games and applications, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Mi MIX captures much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a camera in the back with much less MP and a tinier back-facing camera sensor providing a lower image quality, they both have the same aperture.
Xiaomi Mi MIX features a bit superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is a better device, it costs a little more than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, giving up some specifications.
