Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, with a global score of 77.2 against 76.2. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro body is much newer and somewhat lighter, but just a little thicker than Xiaomi Mi MIX. Both devices we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version and Xiaomi Mi MIX has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, providing the user some nice extra features.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same brightness, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro also counts with a quite better pixels number in each inch in the screen and a slightly better 1080 x 2280px resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a slightly bigger memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's processor is just as good as the Xiaomi Mi MIX one, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro also has more RAM memory and a larger number of cores.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX shoots clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a smaller camera sensor giving a worse image quality and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos and videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a lot more mega pixels camera and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Xiaomi Mi MIX features just a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
