Huawei Mate 8 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, with a 77.4 score against 76. The Huawei Mate 8 is an older, just a little thicker and somewhat heavier phone than Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with 4 more processing cores.
Huawei Mate 8 and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 feature really similar screens, because although the Huawei Mate 8 has a bit worse display density, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a little bigger screen. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 128 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a little better battery duration than Huawei Mate 8, because it has 4070mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh. Huawei Mate 8 features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, although it has a much lower resolution back facing camera and a much worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, they both have a same size aperture.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Xiaomi Mi Note 2, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
