Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, having a 78.7 score against 76. Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a just a little heavier cellphone than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but they are equally thin. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a greater pixel count per display inch. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features as much storage capacity to store more apps and games as the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 one, they have the same 128 GB internal storage.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a higher number of faster cores. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, although it has a smaller back camera sensor shooting lower quality images, a lower video resolution, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures in poorly lited environments and a much worse resolution back facing camera.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features just a little better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 2 percent larger battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
