Huawei Mate X is better than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, with an 89.4 score against 76. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate X has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Huawei Mate X counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (and also faster). The Huawei Mate X captures slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a larger aperture to take better low-light captures and video, a way more mega-pixels camera and a way bigger camera sensor taking much better quality pictures.
Huawei Mate X features just a little better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 4070mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, else you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, giving up a couple features and specifications.
