Comparison review
Huawei P Smart (2021) is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, getting a score of 79.2 against 76. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the Huawei P Smart (2021) has 10 version while Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Even though Huawei P Smart (2021) is noticeably newer than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, it is thicker and heavier.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and the Huawei P Smart (2021) both have quite similar processors, because although the Huawei P Smart (2021) has 2 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores (but slower). Huawei P Smart (2021) features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a larger display, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a bit greater display density.
Huawei P Smart (2021) takes a lot better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P Smart (2021) also has a larger camera aperture, a back camera with a much better resolution and a lot larger sensor which provides a lot higher photo and video quality.
The Huawei P Smart (2021) has a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Huawei P Smart (2021) also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Huawei P Smart (2021) features longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
