Comparison review

LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2's overall score of 76. These phones come with Android operating system, but the LG V30S ThinQ has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, providing some nice extra features and improved performance. The LG V30S ThinQ construction is newer, just a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi Note 2.

The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2880, a better amount of pixels per inch in the display and a little bit bigger display. LG V30S ThinQ features a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB.

LG V30S ThinQ features a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have 6 GB of RAM memory, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a larger number of faster cores. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features better battery life than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 4070mAh battery capacity. LG V30S ThinQ shoots much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor which offers a lower image and video quality, a worse 3840x2160 video quality and a lot less MP back facing camera, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better low-light photos.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Note 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy LG V30S ThinQ, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, letting go a couple specifications.
