Comparison review
The Galaxy S5 is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, getting an 80.8 score against 76. The Galaxy S5 is an extremely older and a little thicker phone than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but Samsung was able to make it somewhat lighter anyway. These phones work with Android OS, but the Galaxy S5 has older 4.4.2 version and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 4 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with an extra graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy S5 has a much more vibrant display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a better pixel amount per inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy S5 takes better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, although it has a much less megapixels back-facing camera, a worse (4K) video definition and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light photos and videos, they both have the same back camera sensor size. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S5, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 4070mAh battery size against 2800mAh.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy S5 is also by far the cheapest one.
