Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a bit better than the Galaxy S7 Active, with a overall score of 76 against 75.8. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a much thinner and lighter cellphone than the Galaxy S7 Active, although both of them were only released with a couple months difference. Samsung Galaxy S7 Active features a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater display density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 also has more RAM. The Galaxy S7 Active features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a lot less MP camera in the back and a lower (4K) video definition, it also counts with a larger aperture.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features more storage for apps and games than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a bit longer battery life than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a 4070mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S7 Active. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S7 Active, giving up a couple features and specs.
