Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, with a 78.1 score against 76. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has older 11 version while Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is a way newer device than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but it's a bit heavier and somewhat thicker.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a little bit greater display density, a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a quite bigger screen. Galaxy XCover 5 has a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1 TB.
Galaxy XCover 5's CPU is just as good as the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 one, because although the Galaxy XCover 5 has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores (but slower). Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a much better battery performance than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 36% greater battery capacity.
The Galaxy XCover 5 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a back camera with a way worse 16 MP resolution and a much worse video definition, it also counts with a bigger aperture.
