Sony Xperia 1 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, having a overall score of 82.6 against 76. The Sony Xperia 1 body is extremely newer, but just a little heavier and just a little thicker than Xiaomi Mi Note 2. The Xperia 1 features a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have 6 GB of RAM memory, the Xperia 1 also has a larger number of cores.
Xperia 1 counts with a lot better screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a bit bigger display, a way higher 1644 x 3840px resolution and a way better display pixels density. The Sony Xperia 1 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a camera in the back with way less MP resolution and a worse video resolution, and they both have the same sensor size, the Sony Xperia 1 also counts with a larger camera aperture for better low-light photos and video.
The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features longer battery performance than Xperia 1, because it has 4070mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.
Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi Note 2. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
