The Xiaomi Mi MIX is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, having a global score of 76.2 against 76. Both devices in this review have the same Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, so they should provide the user identical operating system features. Although it's the best we compare here, it must be noted that it's also a heavier and a little bit thicker cellphone.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have 4 cores, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 also has more RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi MIX features a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a little bit lower display density, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2040 pixels resolution and a quite bigger display.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with as much storage capacity to store more games and applications as the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Mi MIX features just a bit better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has an 8% more battery size. The Xiaomi Mi MIX features a superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, although it has a back camera with a much lower 16 megapixels resolution, a smaller sensor providing a lower image quality and a lower video resolution, they both have a F2 aperture.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is a better device, it costs a bit more than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi Note 2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
