The Xiaomi Redmi 9T is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, with a 78.2 score against 76. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi 9T has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi 9T is way newer than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, it is somewhat heavier and a lot thicker.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a quite bigger screen, a quite better pixels density and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a processing unit that is just as good as the processing unit in Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although the Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a greater storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a very superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a 47% greater battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T captures much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality, a bigger aperture for better low-light captures and videos and a back-facing camera with a much better resolution.
