Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, getting a general score of 76.6 against 76. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 construction is way newer than Xiaomi Mi Note 2's, although it is somewhat thicker and heavier. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has 10 version and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's CPU is very similar to the processor in Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a bit more pixels per display inch, a quite bigger display and a slightly better 1080 x 2340px resolution.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a bit bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a 5020mAh battery size instead of 4070mAh.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a camera with a much better resolution, a bigger aperture to take better low-light photos and videos and a much larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is also very cheap compared to the other devices, which makes this phone an obvious call.
