The Microsoft Surface Duo is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, having a global score of 78.8 against 75.3. Microsoft Surface Duo's construction is a lot newer and extremely thinner than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3's, but it is notably heavier. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but Microsoft Surface Duo has older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 features a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Duo, although it has a much lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a really smaller display, they both have the same quantity of pixels per inch in the display. Microsoft Surface Duo counts with as much storage to store more apps and games as Xiaomi Mi Note 3, both of them have equal internal storage.
Microsoft Surface Duo has a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 3. Both have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. Xiaomi Mi Note 3 features a little bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 also counts with a back camera with a higher 12 megapixels resolution and a bigger diafragm aperture.
The Microsoft Surface Duo counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because it has a 2 percent more battery capacity.
The Microsoft Surface Duo is more expensive than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
