Comparison review
The Xperia 1 is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, having an 82.6 score against 75.3. The Xperia 1 is a newer phone than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, but it is just a little bit heavier and a little thicker. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because although it has much lower brightness, it also counts with a lot better pixels quantity per display inch, a bigger display and a lot better 1644 x 3840px resolution.
Sony Xperia 1 features a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a SD memory slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Xperia 1 counts with a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 3. Both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.
The Xperia 1 features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because although it has worse 24 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same video quality and a back facing camera with a 12 MP, the Xperia 1 also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light photography and video.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia 1, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi Note 3. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
