Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, with an 82.2 score against 75.3. Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is newer than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, it's way thicker and a lot heavier. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because it has a little bit larger screen, a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840px, a way higher pixels density and much more screen brightness.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 400 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Note 3. Both of them have 8 cores and a 6 GB RAM.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because it has a 3540mAh battery capacity. Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, a F1.8 aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a lot more MP camera in the back.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi Note 3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Mi Note 3, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
