Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, getting a overall score of 77.7 against 75.3. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a a little heavier cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, but both are equally thin. Both phones in this review have the same Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 features a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a little bit worse 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher number of pixels in each screen inch.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's storage capacity to store more games and applications is very similar to the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 one, they have the same internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a CPU that is just as good as the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 one, they have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM. The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has a bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite captures just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for capturing photographs in low light situations, they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
