Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, having a general score of 76.2 against 75.3. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi MIX has an older 6.0 Marshmallow version while Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Despite being the best cellphone in our current comparison, the Xiaomi Mi MIX is an older, just a little thicker and heavier cellphone than Xiaomi Mi Note 3.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a little lower 1080 x 1920px resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher display density and a little bit more brightness. Xiaomi Mi MIX's storage capacity to install games and applications is very similar to Xiaomi Mi Note 3's one, both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has more processing cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi MIX features superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity. Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light captures and video, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Mi MIX also counts with a much higher resolution back-facing camera.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is a better device, it costs more than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi Note 3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, giving up some features and specifications.
