Samsung Galaxy A40 has a global score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro's global score of 75.3. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A40 has 11 version and Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has Android 5.0 version. Xiaomi Mi Note Pro counts with a faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro also has an extra graphics processing unit and a 64-bits processing unit.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy A40, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440. The Galaxy A40 takes a lot better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, because it has a higher 16 MP resolution back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy A40 features much more memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy A40 features just a bit better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, because it has 3100mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
