Comparison review

Galaxy Note8 is better than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, having an 83 score against 75.3. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has Android 5.0, offering a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.

The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro also counts with a 64 bits CPU and an additional graphics processor. Xiaomi Mi Note Pro counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy Note8, although it has a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1440, a bit less pixels per inch in the screen and a little bit smaller display.

Galaxy Note8 has a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note8 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note8 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, although it has a less mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera.

The Galaxy Note8 features a little longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
