Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 has a general score of 81.7, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro's 75.3 overall score. The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same RAM amount and 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro also has a 64-bit processing unit and a graphics co-processor.
Xiaomi Mi Note Pro features a little bit better screen than Galaxy S8, although it has a quite worse display pixel density, a little worse resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a little smaller display. The Galaxy S8 has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy S8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
Samsung Galaxy S8 takes way better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, although it has a back-facing camera with less mega pixels resolution. The Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi Mi Note Pro both count with extremely similar batteries duration.
Samsung Galaxy S8 not only is the best phones between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also by far the cheapest one, which makes it an easy decision.
