The Xperia 1 III is way better than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, with a 93.3 score against 75.3. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS (operating system), but Xperia 1 III has a newer 11 version while Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has Android 5.0. Xiaomi Mi Note Pro features a little better performance than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro also counts with a 64-bits processor and a graphics co-processor.
Xiaomi Mi Note Pro counts with just a bit better looking display than Xperia 1 III, although it has a just a little worse pixels number per inch of display, a little bit smaller display and a way worse resolution of 2560 x 1440. The Xperia 1 III has a very superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, although it has a back-facing camera with less MP.
The Sony Xperia 1 III features a much greater storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, because it has 192 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1 TB. Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a way better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Sony Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia 1 III, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, giving up some specifications.
