Comparison review
Xiaomi Mix Flip is slightly better than the Asus ROG Phone 8, having an 83.2 score against 79.5. These phones include the same Android 14 OS, so they should provide the user identical operating system features. Although Xiaomi Mix Flip and Asus ROG Phone 8 were only released 6 months apart, Xiaomi Mix Flip is thinner and somewhat lighter.
Xiaomi Mix Flip has a slightly better looking screen than Asus ROG Phone 8, because it has a bit more pixels per inch in the screen, a bit higher 1224 x 2912 resolution, a little bit bigger display and a little brighter display. The Xiaomi Mix Flip and the Asus ROG Phone 8 count with similar storage to store more games and applications, both have equal 256 GB internal memory capacity.
The Asus ROG Phone 8's processing unit is just as good as the CPU in Xiaomi Mix Flip, both of them have 12 GB of RAM and 8 cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mix Flip, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light images and video, they both have the same video resolution, a 50 MP resolution back camera and the same video frame rate.
