Xiaomi Note 7 Pro's body is incredibly newer, but just a little bit heavier and a little thicker than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version, so it provides you some nice extra features and enhanced performance.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro. Both have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a better pixel density.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has as much storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos as the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's battery performance is just as good as the battery performance in Xiaomi Note 7 Pro. The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has a way better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also has a way larger sensor shooting lot better quality videos and photos, a back-facing camera with a way better 48 megapixels resolution and a larger aperture.
