Xiaomi Note 7 Pro is a little bit better than the Huawei P40 Lite, getting an 80.5 score against 79.5. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version, so it provides the user a couple additional features and better performance. The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro is an older and a little bit heavier device than Huawei P40 Lite, but Xiaomi was able to build it a bit thinner anyway.
Huawei P40 Lite counts with a screen that's just as good as the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro one, because although the Huawei P40 Lite has a bit worse 1080 x 2310 pixels resolution and a just a little less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen. The Huawei P40 Lite and Xiaomi Note 7 Pro both feature very similar storage to install applications and games, both have the same internal storage capacity.
Huawei P40 Lite features a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro. They have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core CPU. Xiaomi Note 7 Pro captures just a bit better photos and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have a 0.5 inches back camera sensor, a 48 mega pixels resolution back facing camera and a same size camera aperture, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also has a lot higher video resolution.
Huawei P40 Lite has just a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
