The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has an overall score of 80.5, which is a little bit better than Galaxy A40's overall score of 79.6. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy A40 has Android 11. The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro design is a little thicker and incredibly heavier than Galaxy A40.
Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has just a little better processing power than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM.
