The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy M12, getting a score of 80.5 against 80. Both phones in this comparison review include Android operating system, but Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy M12 has Android 10 version, offering some nice extra features and performance improvements. Despite of the fact that Xiaomi Note 7 Pro is noticeably older than the Samsung Galaxy M12, it's design is somewhat thinner and lighter.
Xiaomi Note 7 Pro counts with a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and much more pixels per display inch. The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M12, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM.
Galaxy M12 has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 1 TB. Xiaomi Note 7 Pro shoots better photos and videos than Galaxy M12, and although they both have a 48 mega-pixels camera in the back, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a larger camera aperture.
Galaxy M12 features a way better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
