Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M40 is slightly better than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, getting an 85 score against 80.5. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version and Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has Android 9.0 Pie version. Samsung Galaxy M40 is a just a little bit lighter and just a little thinner device than the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, even though both were released only 3 months apart.
Galaxy M40 features a CPU that's very similar to the processing unit in Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, both have a Octa-Core processing unit and 6 GB of RAM memory. Galaxy M40 has a display that's very similar to Xiaomi Note 7 Pro's screen, both of them have a display of the same size, a better pixel quantity in each screen inch and exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution.
The Galaxy M40 counts with much more storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy M40 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has just a little bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has a bit better camera than Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light images and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also counts with a way larger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality and a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
