Comparison review
The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro is slightly better than Galaxy S5 Sport, getting an 80.5 score against 77.8. Both phones in this comparison review have Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2, providing you some extra features. Xiaomi Note 7 Pro is a noticeably newer and a little bit thinner phone than Galaxy S5 Sport, but it's heavier.
Galaxy S5 Sport has a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because although it has less processing cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport counts with a much better screen than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a little smaller display, it also counts with a little better display density.
