The Galaxy S8 is a bit better than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, getting a overall score of 81.7 against 80.5. The Galaxy S8 design is just a bit thinner and lighter than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released around a year before. The Galaxy S8 counts with a little sharper display than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a greater count of pixels per screen inch.
Samsung Galaxy S8 features just a bit bigger memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 256 GB. Galaxy S8 has a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has a much better camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with much more MP and a way bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
