Comparison review
Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro has an overall score of 87.9, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A42's 87 overall score. Even being the best in this review, Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro is a somewhat heavier and a bit thicker cellphone than the Galaxy A42. Both phones we are comparing here have Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro has the older 10 version and Galaxy A42 has Android 11.
Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM. The Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro counts with a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because it has a much higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, a better display density and a little bigger display.
The Galaxy A42 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. The Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for taking pictures in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way more megapixels back-facing camera and a much better video resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 features a little longer battery life than Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro, because it has a 6% bigger battery capacity.
