Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 has a global score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro's overall score of 78.7. The Galaxy S8 construction is much lighter and somewhat thinner than the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro, although it was released many years before. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro have really similar processing units, both have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
The Galaxy S8 counts with a brighter screen than Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater display pixels density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. The Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has a bit more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro also has an external SD slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro also counts with a camera with a much higher 48 megapixels resolution. Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has a really longer battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has a 67% larger battery capacity.
