These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 1 II has a more recent 11 version while Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has Android 10, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements. Xperia 1 II is a somewhat lighter and thinner phone than the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro, although both were only released 2 months apart.
