These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021 has Android 11 version. Even being the best phone in this review, the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro design is older, a bit heavier and a little bit thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021.

The Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021 has just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch.
