The Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G is a bit better than the Moto G9 Play, with an 80.8 score against 76.7. Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G is a a bit lighter and a little bit thinner phone than the Moto G9 Play, although both were released with only a few months difference. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS, but the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has the newer 11 version while Moto G9 Play has Android 10.
Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has a much better looking screen than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G also has a higher pixels density and a lot higher 1080 x 2400px resolution. The Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G features a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G9 Play. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and 8 cores.
Moto G9 Play counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and a 48 megapixels camera, the Moto G9 Play also has a bigger camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality, a bigger camera aperture to capture better low light photos and better 60 frames per second video frame rates.
The Moto G9 Play has a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Moto G9 Play also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. Moto G9 Play's battery performance is very similar to the battery lifetime in Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G.
