Google Pixel 4a 5G is better than Xiaomi Poco M3, getting a global score of 87.5 against 78.2. The Google Pixel 4a 5G is a lighter and somewhat thinner cellphone than the Xiaomi Poco M3, even though both were only released 0 months apart. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Google Pixel 4a 5G has a newer 11 version while Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10, counting with a couple additional features and some performance improvements.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also counts with a little better pixel density. The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G has a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a really longer battery duration than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
Xiaomi Poco M3 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has slower video frame rate and a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for shooting images in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also counts with a lot larger camera sensor and a camera in the back with a much higher resolution.
Although Google Pixel 4a 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Poco M3. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Poco M3, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
