Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Poco M3, getting a 78.7 score against 78.2. These devices use Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10. Huawei Mate 9 Pro is an notably older device than the Xiaomi Poco M3, but Huawei made it much thinner and somewhat lighter.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560px resolution and more pixels per inch of screen.
Xiaomi Poco M3 features a better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Poco M3 features a much better battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 50 percent larger battery size.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 has a superior camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a bigger diafragm aperture, a much larger camera sensor which gives a much higher photo and video quality and a back camera with a lot better resolution.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Poco M3, letting go a couple specifications.
