Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Duo has a score of 78.8, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Poco M3's score of 78.2. Although the Microsoft Surface Duo and the Xiaomi Poco M3 were released with only 3 months difference, Microsoft Surface Duo's construction is incredibly heavier but a lot thinner. Both devices in this review have the same Android 10 operating system, so both should provide identical OS features.
Microsoft Surface Duo has a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because it has a larger screen, a higher 1800 x 2700 resolution and a just a bit higher screen pixel density. The Microsoft Surface Duo features just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 has more memory to store more games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a much better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also counts with a bigger aperture for better low-light photos and videos and a camera in the back with a much higher resolution.
Xiaomi Poco M3 has a way better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3577mAh.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Duo, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Poco M3, letting go some specs and features.
